# Veo 2.0 — Image-to-Video

> Animate static images into short video clips using Google DeepMind's Veo 2.0 in ComfyUI.

Veo 2.0 is Google DeepMind's lightweight image-to-video model in ComfyUI. It animates static images into short video clips, preserving the original composition while adding natural motion — ideal for breathing life into concept art, AI-generated images, or photographs.

## Key capabilities

* **Image-to-video animation** — Convert static images into short, natural-looking video clips.
* **Composition preservation** — Maintains the original image structure, colors, and layout while adding motion.
* **Natural motion generation** — Produces realistic movement that respects the source image's content and style.

> If nodes are missing when loading a workflow, possible reasons:
>
> 1. You are not using the latest ComfyUI version (Nightly version)
> 2. Some nodes failed to import at startup
