Nano Banana 2 is now available in ComfyUI through Partner Nodes. This release fundamentally changes the default choice for most creators, delivering Pro-level quality at Flash speed.
To use the API nodes, you need to ensure that you are logged in properly and using a permitted network environment. Please refer to the API Nodes Overview section of the documentation to understand the specific requirements for using the API nodes.
Make sure your ComfyUI is updated.Workflows in this guide can be found in the Workflow Templates. If you can’t find them in the template, your ComfyUI may be outdated. (Desktop version’s update will delay sometime)If nodes are missing when loading a workflow, possible reasons:
  1. You are not using the latest ComfyUI version (Nightly version)
  2. Some nodes failed to import at startup

  • Search-grounded world knowledge — Intelligently triggers Google Image Search grounding to improve factual accuracy for lesser-known landmarks, niche objects, or real-world details
  • Subject consistency — Maintain character resemblance of up to 5 characters and fidelity of up to 14 objects in a single workflow
  • Configurable thinking levels — Control how much the model “thinks” before generating (Minimal for fast exploration, High/Dynamic for complex layouts)
  • Precision text rendering and translation — Generate accurate, legible text for marketing mockups, greeting cards, and localized assets

Get started

  1. Update ComfyUI to the latest version
  2. Double-click the canvas and search for the “Nano Banana 2” node
  3. Or go to the Template Library to use the ready-to-go workflow
  4. Choose your resolution, set your aspect ratio, and decide whether the prompt needs deeper reasoning
The new model version has also been added to the previous “Nano Banana Pro” node. If you have old workflows with this node, you don’t need to rebuild them — just reselect the model version.
